Kia ora,
We are thrilled to announce a new feature on the KidsHealth website, designed specifically to make it easier for clinicians and whānau to share trusted child health information with caregivers.
The new ‘Get QR Code’ button allows you to instantly provide access to the information you’re viewing without the need for emails or explaining search terms.
How it works
The ‘Get QR Code’ button is conveniently located:
- Below the page title or introduction
- At the bottom of the page content
Click the button to generate a QR code for the page you’re viewing. Caregivers can scan the code with their phone's camera, giving them immediate access to the information on their device.
Why this is useful for clinicians
- Save time: No need to email web links or explain what to search for.
- Streamline communication: Quickly direct families to accurate and reliable resources during consultations.
- Empower families: Provide instant access to critical health information.
This new feature is available now on the KidsHealth website. We encourage you to try it out and incorporate it into your clinical practice to make sharing health information more efficient and effective.
