Dr. Rosie Marks is doing 'A Rare Kind of Walk'

This Saturday, 30 March, our member Dr Rosie Marks will participate in 'A Rare Kind of Walk' on Maungawhau, Mt Eden. This event supports Rare Disorders New Zealand (RDNZ), an organisation dedicated to advocating for the 300,000 New Zealanders living with rare disorders. Many of those affected are children and young people, highlighting the importance of our support.

Here's what's happening:

  • Where? The journey starts at the Maungawhau/Mt Eden car park, just below the cafe.
  • Why? It's all about raising awareness and supporting RDNZ's important work. More info here: Rare Disorders NZ, and all about the walk here.
  • How can you support? Spread the word, share with your network, and, if you can, contribute to the Give-a-little page: Walk a Mile with James.

Rosie's planning to walk for a couple of hours around mid-afternoon. If you're in Auckland, head down to cheer them on or join the walk. 👏
