The Paediatric Society in collaboration with Starship and other health sector leaders met in 2023 and developed a position paper to outline a coordinated proposal to the Hospital and Specialist Services National Network Team in Te Whatu Ora. We have subsequently sought feedback from a wide range of people through Te Whatu Ora and the wider sector, resulting in this revised proposal. This has been favourably received by the national networks team and we are expecting further developments in the coming months to develop The National Child Health Network programme.
